About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Employee Relations Specialist to join our Employee Experience and Wellbeing team. As an integral part of our organization, you will play a vital role in employee relations initiatives.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Providing support and advice to the People & Culture team and the organization on complex ER issues, including performance management, workplace disputes, and employment law;
  • Developing practical solutions to complex queries, drawing upon detailed knowledge of employment law and operational priorities;
  • Conducting investigations and/or briefing external providers as needed;
  • Representing the organization at tribunals and the Fair Work Commission;
  • Supporting the negotiation and implementation of Enterprise Agreements and providing advice to the People & Culture team and leaders across the organization to ensure compliance with, and consistent application of, Enterprise Agreements.

This permanent opportunity is ideal for individuals who possess excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of employment legislation.

About You

We're looking for someone with experience in a legal environment or in an employee relations specialist role within a medium to large organization. You should have exposure to Enterprise Agreement negotiation and implementation, highly developed knowledge of employment legislation, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
