About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Employee Relations team as a Specialist Employee Relations consultant. As a key member of the team, you will provide technical expertise to line leaders in managing complex employee relations matters, including performance and conduct issues, workplace investigations, and disciplinary processes.
You will work closely with our Manager Employee Relations to develop and execute ER strategies that drive optimal business outcomes. Your role will also involve providing advice and interpretation on employment instruments and legislation, representing the Company in litigation proceedings, and supporting risk assessment activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide coaching and advice to Leaders in managing complex employee relations matters
- Develop and execute ER strategies to drive optimal business outcomes
- Represent the Company in litigation proceedings

About You
We are looking for a passionate and driven HR/ER professional who has a depth of experience supporting leaders across all case management areas of ER. You should have a strong knowledge of the Australian industrial relations landscape and legal requirements. Previous exposure to working in mining, heavy industry or professional services environment will be beneficial for this role.
You must be proactive and strategic in your thinking, with a risk-based approach to your work. Proven success in working in a fast-paced and high-volume environment is essential. Your communication, facilitation, and influencing skills will be key strengths, and you must be able to build trusting relationships at all organisational levels.
