About SugarCRM

We're on a mission to provide products and services that make the hard things easier for sales, marketing, and customer service teams. As a Business Development Representative, you'll be the first point of contact for potential clients and help spark interest in SugarCRM.

Your responsibilities will include building rapport with contacts through phone calls and emails, working closely with the SugarCRM sales team to ensure leads are qualified correctly, and gathering key information to update the CRM system.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage lead development for APAC
* Research accounts to understand need, enable effective follow-up, and generate interest
* Detailed qualification of inbound marketing leads
* Successfully manage and overcome prospect objections
* Builds relationships and effectively communicates with territory sales team and management
* Stay current on the SugarCRM products and solutions
* Actively look for opportunities to improve, optimize lead management
* Record information and maintain detailed and accurate records in the CRM system

Requirements:

* 1+ year experience with value-based selling, working against a quota
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Professional, determined, and results-oriented
* Comfortable working with a very high throughput of leads and data flow
* Positive attitude, team-oriented, and a self-starter
* Ability to accurately determine lead qualifications based upon established criteria
* Comfortable learning key software applications
* Able to be in-office 2x per week

Preferred Experience:

* Previous experience using SalesLoft (or similar sales cadence tools), LinkedIn Sales Navigator and/or web chat tools
