Role Summary

We are seeking a Defence Capture Management Specialist to join our team at World Fuel Services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop Strategic Capture Plans
    • Develop plans and support tools that successfully inform and enable strategic investment, framing feasible and sustainable opportunity needs and conceptualising a vision for winning.
  • Establish Comprehensive Knowledge Databases
    • Establish comprehensive knowledge databases that ensure accurate and valued understanding of the customer's requirements, issues, and needs, including detailed assumptions, facts, and gap analysis efforts.
  • Enable Corporate and Core Team Capacity
    • Enable corporate and core team capacity to strategize on win themes aligned with customer critical needs.
  • Lead Coordination for Targeted Meetings
    • Lead coordination for targeted meetings with customers, competitors, clients, and team members to develop market insight on requirements, timing, and investment models.
  • Plan and Participate in Capture Activities
    • Plan and participate in capture activities, including opportunity gate reviews, black hat sessions, collaboration, and workshop sessions, proposal reviews.
  • Lead Competitive Assessments, Teaming, and Price-to-Win Efforts
    • Lead competitive assessments, teaming, and price-to-win efforts.
  • Inform Development and Submission of Proposal Artifacts
    • Inform development and submission of white papers, RFI responses, and other proposal artifacts as assigned.
  • Promote Best Practice Approaches and Processes
    • Promote best practice approaches and processes consistently.
  • Support Other Business Development Activities
    • Support other business development activities as assigned, including after-action reviews, document control, and administrative support.
  • Mentor and Guide Supporting Team Members
    • Mentor and guide supporting team members, including assigned senior contractors and their efforts.

Requirements

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field and 15+ years of related experience or Master's degree and 13+ years of prior relevant experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Proven experience in capture management, logistics, modernisation, sustainment, and engineering across multiple domains, organisations, and program offices in the Defence and Government Sector at a variety of acquisition sizes.
  • Familiar with stakeholder management.
  • Strong analytical abilities and capacity to address complex issues and problems.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to manage a range of different tasks and to tailor effort to achieve essential deadlines.
  • Discretion and an understanding of confidentiality issues.
