As a Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding our client base. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:- Identifying and developing new business opportunities through proactive outreach and relationship-building with potential clients and partners.
- Collaborating with the marketing team to create and implement effective sales strategies, campaigns, and promotions to attract new business.
- Conducting market research to stay ahead of industry trends and identify opportunities for expansion.
- Pitching our hotel's unique offerings to potential clients and partners through persuasive presentations and negotiations.
- Managing the end-to-end sales process, including lead generation, prospecting, proposal creation, contract negotiation, and closing deals.
- Developing and maintaining a detailed understanding of our hotel's facilities, services, and packages to effectively communicate value propositions to clients.
- Representing Mercure Newcastle at industry events, trade shows, and networking sessions to enhance brand visibility and build a strong professional network.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of client agreements.
What We're Looking For:
- At least 2 years of experience in business development, hospitality, or a related field.
- A proven track record in business development, sales, or a related role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
- A passion for the hospitality industry and a deep understanding of client relationship processes.
