Sales Manager Opportunity at Mercure Newcastle

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team at Mercure Newcastle. As a Sales Manager, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth and expanding our client base through proactive business development and sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to drive revenue growth and expand our client base.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement effective sales strategies, campaigns, and promotions to attract new business.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive analysis, and opportunities for expansion.
  • Pitch our hotel's unique offerings to potential clients and partners through persuasive presentations and negotiations.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process, including lead generation, prospecting, proposal creation, contract negotiation, and closing deals.
  • Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of the hotel's facilities, services, and packages to effectively communicate value propositions to clients.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking sessions to enhance brand visibility and build a strong professional network.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams at Accor's Salter Brothers Portfolio Office, including operations, marketing, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of client agreements.
  • Work closely with the General Manager and Portfolio Director of Sales and Marketing on sales initiatives and projects.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience in business development, hospitality, or hotels.
  • Proven track record in business development, sales, or a related role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
  • A passion for the hospitality industry and a deep understanding of client relationship processes.
