Join the University of New South Wales as a key member of the Faculty of Medicine and Health, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless delivery of undergraduate programs.

As a Technical Teaching Support Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting academic staff by handling the setup and preparation for practical classes, ensuring that materials and equipment are effectively transferred between teaching areas as needed. This involves the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment, contributing to a seamless learning environment for students and a reliable support system for instructors.

The role is critical to the effective functioning of teaching laboratories, requiring a proactive approach and attention to technical details. You will work closely with the Technical Teaching Support Team Leader to ensure the smooth operation of the team.

We are looking for an individual with relevant tertiary qualifications and subsequent experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training, and experience. Your ability to work in laboratory environments, including safe use of laboratory equipment and materials, and impart technical knowledge to others in a teaching environment, is highly valued.

In addition to your technical skills, you should possess excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills, as well as advanced time management, organisational, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to meet deadlines. High computer literacy with excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications is also essential.
