Key Responsibilities- Welcoming and orientating students to healthcare settings, acting as a professional role model and providing opportunistic student learning and clinical teaching.
- Identifying learning needs, promoting skill development, and conducting formal written evaluations and assessments of clinical skills.
- Providing feedback to students and the university through open communication and being available on a full-time rotational roster throughout each professional practice cycle.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA and minimum five years post-registration experience in a clinical setting.
- Postgraduate qualifications in an area of specialty and experience in preceptorship/mentorship and supervision of nursing students/junior staff.
- Excellent time management skills, ability to work autonomously, and demonstrated effective interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to pastoral care, knowledge of registered nurse standards for practice, and understanding of the Catholic ethos of the university.
We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus benefits including opportunities for ongoing learning and professional development.
