The University of Notre Dame Australia seeks an experienced Clinical Facilitator to support the clinical education of undergraduate nursing students on professional practice placement within the Bachelor of Nursing program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcoming and orientating students to healthcare settings, acting as a professional role model and providing opportunistic student learning and clinical teaching.
  • Identifying learning needs, promoting skill development, and conducting formal written evaluations and assessments of clinical skills.
  • Providing feedback to students and the university through open communication and being available on a full-time rotational roster throughout each professional practice cycle.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA and minimum five years post-registration experience in a clinical setting.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in an area of specialty and experience in preceptorship/mentorship and supervision of nursing students/junior staff.
  • Excellent time management skills, ability to work autonomously, and demonstrated effective interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to pastoral care, knowledge of registered nurse standards for practice, and understanding of the Catholic ethos of the university.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus benefits including opportunities for ongoing learning and professional development.
