Academic Program Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Academic Program Coordinator to join our team at the Faculty of Arts, Design & Architecture. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the strategy, leadership and governance of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply, interpret, and advise on policies, systems, manuals, rules, procedures, and guidelines relevant to Teaching Support activities across the Faculty.
  • Undertake Faculty management and oversight of timelines and processes relating to the publishing of the UNSW Handbook, course offerings, and the Enterprise Course Outline System (ECOS).
  • Work with and communicate with all Deputy Heads of School / Directors of Learning and Teaching and Teaching Support Officers regarding these processes and timelines.
  • Support the development and implementation of the Faculty's educational strategy.
Requirements
  • Australian Working Rights or Australian Citizenship.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through any other combination of education, training and/or experience.
  • High-level understanding of course coordination, handbook requirements, Teaching Support logistics and program administration.
  • Proven experience working with different university systems, particularly in relation to program and course curriculum management.
