HiTech Group is a prominent Federal Government Department in Australia, renowned for its critical projects and rewarding hourly rates. Our team is seeking an experienced Administration Officer to handle the program's inbox and Register for grant related correspondence.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will manage communication with various stakeholders for grant program and provide support in assessment process and grant awarding/reporting processes. The role also involves designing and developing grant opportunity guidelines and supporting artefacts, conducting eligibility assessments of applicants based on grant guidelines, and assisting in providing policy and program support to the team and executives.
Key Responsibilities

- Conduct eligibility assessments of applicants based on grant guidelines;
- Provide support in assessment process and grant awarding/reporting processes;
- Assist in providing policy and program support to the team and executives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have experience in planning and administering a grant program, understanding of Commonwealth Grants Framework, Rules, Guidelines and PGPA Act, familiarity with SmartyGrants grant administration platform, and experience in International Policy area, Government or Non-Government sector.
Benefits
The successful Administration Officer will be offered an initial 12-month contract with an additional 2 x 12-month extension options and receive a rewarding hourly rate with some flexible working arrangements. Salary
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $60-$80 per hour, depending on experience.
