Job Description

This role is part of the Academic Quality team at UNSW Australia and supports the strategy, leadership, and governance of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and learning. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating academic program reviews, advising on policies and procedures, and managing timelines and processes related to course offerings and the Enterprise Course Outline System (ECOS).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply, interpret, and advise on policies, systems, manuals, rules, procedures, and guidelines relevant to Teaching Support activities across the Faculty.
  • Undertake Faculty management and oversight of timelines and processes relating to the publishing of the UNSW Handbook, course offerings, and the Enterprise Course Outline System (ECOS).
  • Work with the Academic Quality Manager, Academic Quality Team, Associate Dean Education, and schools to support and deliver Academic Program Reviews across the Faculty.
  • Undertake Faculty management of Academic Quality related projects.
  • Maintain, support, and coordinate results processing as it relates to late entry results, changes, disputed marks, and unresolved marks.
Requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through any other combination of education, training, and/or experience.
  • High-level understanding of course coordination, handbook requirements, Teaching Support logistics, and program administration.
  • Proven experience working with different university systems, particularly in relation to program and course curriculum management.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, analytical, and organizational skills with an ability to meet deadlines and to identify gaps in service and make suggestions for improvement.

  • A salary range of $100,354 - $107,054 per annum, plus 17% Superannuation contributions and additional leave loading payments (pro rata).
