About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Claims Specialist to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our Emergency Services portfolios, you will play a vital role in helping injured workers return to employment.

As a Claims Specialist, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of workers compensation claims, focusing on physical and psychological based injuries. You will build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including injured workers, employers, doctors, and rehabilitation providers, to ensure timely and effective recovery and return to work outcomes.

Your Responsibilities
  • Manage a full portfolio of workers compensation claims, prioritizing physical and psychological based injuries
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to facilitate effective recovery and return to work outcomes
  • Collaborate with Injury Management Specialists to develop and implement return to work plans
  • Ensure active and timely strategies are implemented to improve recovery and return to work outcomes
About You
  • Relevant Allied Health background with experience in customer service
  • Ability to work well within a team and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for helping people and ability to handle challenging conversations
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to think creatively when engaging with stakeholders
  • Empathetic, resilient, and able to work well under pressure
  • Experience managing, negotiating, and influencing positive outcomes
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to build rapport with each customer/client
