Business Development Executive

The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Mainfreight Wharf Melbourne team for a Business Development Executive. This role focuses on cold calling, first-time new business meetings, and overall activity levels to effectively manage and build a successful prospective pipeline.
- A new business target to achieve and drive sales growth.
- Part of a dynamic and rapidly growing team.
- Developing customer end-to-end supply chain solutions.
- Responsibility for reporting and overseeing customer KPIs.
- An initial 3-6 month period of hands-on experience and learning the business from the ground up.
Key Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous sales experience or a willingness to learn and develop.
- An absolute desire to delight customers and a genuine 'Can Do' attitude.
- Promotable, self-motivated, driven, and strong desire to develop and succeed.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build and strengthen professional relationships quickly.
- Aptitude for self-learning and taking initiative towards own professional development.
- Immaculate presentation.
- Understanding and confidence to execute consultative sales approach.
