Lead Grill Team at Sydney's Premier Venue

We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to lead our team in the popular Black Bar and Grill. As Executive Grill Lead, you will work closely with the Restaurant Executive Chef to deliver exceptional culinary experiences for our guests.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading all aspects of team management, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Participating in menu preparation and pricing policies, ensuring dishes meet the highest standards.
  • Developing training plans and conducting on-the-job training sessions to upskill staff.
  • Ensuring open communication between teams, management, and guests, driving excellent customer service.
  • Attracting and retaining top talent, building a high-performing team.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications, such as Certificate III in Commercial Cookery.
  • Experience in a similar role within an up-market grill venue.
  • Proven experience managing diverse teams and ability to work in a large corporate environment.
