As a key member of our Echo Entertainment Group team, we are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to lead and inspire our culinary team in our popular Black Bar and Grill.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Restaurant Executive Chef to support the team in delivering a consistently high product in a timely manner. About The Role
  • Lead all aspects of team management, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Participate in menu preparation and pricing policies, driving business growth through innovative cuisine
  • Develop training plans and conduct on-the-job training sessions, empowering team members to excel
  • Ensure open communication between the team, management, and guests, providing exceptional customer experiences
  • Attract and retain top talent, building a diverse and skilled team

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications, such as Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
  • Experience in a similar role within an up-market grill venue (highly regarded)
  • Experience managing a diverse team and working in a large corporate environment
  • Ability to work with different computer systems and partner with various stakeholders
