At Sofitel Melbourne On Collins, we're seeking a highly skilled and guest-focused hospitality professional to join our team as a Club Sofitel Attendant. As the ultimate luxury hotel escape in the heart of Melbourne city centre, we combine French elegance and modern luxury to create unforgettable experiences for our guests.

We're looking for someone with a minimum 12 months experience in a luxury hotel environment who can provide exceptional service, maintain high standards, and exceed guest expectations. If you have a strong focus on guest and team relations, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service, we'd love to hear from you

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of all hotel facilities and promotions
  • Attend to guest's requests quickly and efficiently, constantly striving to provide total customer satisfaction
  • Prepare and serve food & beverages
  • Monitor the Responsible Service of Alcohol and ensure compliance with Victorian legislation
  • Maintain food & beverage stock and inventory control based on current and future occupancy
  • Complete check-in and check-out procedures and adhere to hotel standards
  • Update guest profiles, maintain guest accounts, and relevant information during their visit, ensuring charges are posted to the correct account
  • Communicate with a diverse range of people in a professional manner

Requirements:

Minimum 12 months experience in a luxury hotel environmentHighly organised and able to effectively manage prioritiesStrong focus on guest and team relationsProject a professional image at all times through personal presentation/interpersonal skillsHandle tasks carefully and correctly – be thorough and exact in details with a sense of urgencyDisplay high energy levels and demonstrate versatility in responding to guest requests and situationsRemain calm and effective in high volume work situationsBe good team player; contribute to and assist co-workers without being askedFlexibility to work a rotating roster, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidaysPrevious reception/attendant experience preferredValid RSA and knowledge of Opera is an advantage
