We are seeking a skilled and passionate Work Health & Safety (WHS) Consultant to join our team at Arnold Group Australia. As a WHS Consultant, you will play a critical role in promoting a positive safety culture across various programs and divisions.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a meaningful contribution to creating safe work environments and mentoring others in their safety journey. You will be based in Redfern, with some travel required to support our various programs and divisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support leaders and workers across various divisions in managing WHS risks and implementing the WHS Management System.
  • Provide WHS guidance, deliver training, and ensure compliance with WHS regulations.
  • Assist with WHS projects and contribute to the national WHS strategy.
  • Participate in incident investigations and facilitate risk assessments.
Qualifications and Experience Required:

To be successful in this role, you will need a Diploma in Work Health & Safety (WHS) or equivalent, and a proven understanding of WHS legislation, codes of practice, and risk management principles. A degree in WHS, Human Resources, or a related field is desirable. Additionally, you should have experience in conducting audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary package, including tool of trade vehicle provided for travel requirements and salary packaging up to $15,000 per annum. You will also have the opportunity to work within a mission-driven, not-for-profit organisation, and receive broader team support to help you succeed in your role.

  • Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
