About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team at Luerssen Australia. As a key member of our Procurement and Supply Chain Team, you will play a critical role in developing and managing procurement activities to support the organization's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement Planning: Develop and implement procurement plans to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
  • Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on criteria such as price, quality, service, and capacity.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure advantageous terms and pricing for the organization.
  • Cost Management: Manage procurement budgets and monitor spending to ensure alignment with financial objectives.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable procedures and policies, including those related to procurement, supply chain, and sustainability.
  • Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and specifications.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports and analyze data to inform procurement decisions and improve procurement processes.
Requirements
  • Certification: Certification II in Procurement or higher.
  • Education: Intermediate to Advanced skills in MS Office.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in a role or similar role.
  • Skills: Highly motivated with excellent problem-solving skills, good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to multitask.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of procurement procedures and processes, as well as ERP systems and tools.
