About the Role

The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for the procurement of goods and services that support Ventia's operations across Australia. Based in our office, you will work within a collaborative team environment, and will be responsible for:

  • Processing requisitions from various areas of the business through our central portal
  • Obtaining, clarifying, negotiating and processing of quotes
  • Co-ordination with vendors for supply and delivery of purchased items
  • Collating and entering data, analysing and running reports for ongoing system maintenance
  • Follow up on queries within the team from internal and external stakeholders
  • Communicating within the team, within departments, with vendors or clients and key stakeholders

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Procurement of goods and services
  • Co-ordination with vendors
  • System maintenance and reporting
  • Communication and stakeholder management
