About the Role:

The Procurement Advisor plays a key role in assisting with the development of procurement policies and practices, providing specialist procurement advice to staff and business units across the Department of Finance.

This involves consulting with Departmental staff and other external stakeholders while maintaining positive and effective relationships.

About You:

The ideal candidate will have experience with policies and practices related to government procurement.

They will possess well-developed communication and research skills with an ability to relay concepts to others, both verbally and through written content.

The candidate will collaborate well within a team and feel comfortable liaising with a variety of stakeholders.

They will be passionate about practice improvement and have a can-do attitude.

They will enjoy an environment where the work is varied and dynamic rather than repetitive and routine.
