About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our Coles Procurement team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting Category Managers with a range of procurement activities, including analytical reporting, performance tracking, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including the Initiative Tracker, Contract Repository, and Initiative Folders.
  • Support Category Managers in sourcing activities, prioritization, and rebalancing against business objectives.
  • Provide analytical and operational support for strategic sourcing, SRM, contract performance management, reporting, and other procurement activities.
  • Support Category Managers in creating insights from data sets and market intelligence sources.
  • Conduct TCO, commodities management, benchmarking, and other analysis to enable better decision-making and management of suppliers and spend categories.
  • Collaborate and communicate regularly with stakeholders to ensure alignment of objectives and build a clear understanding of requirements for third-party goods and services.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Specialist who possesses strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, a high level of personal integrity and ethics, and a solid understanding of basic Australian contract law. You will have a related tertiary qualification, preferably in Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Law, or Property category, and be competent in Ariba, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and e-procurement tools/systems.
