A leading events agency in Sydney delivers creative events in Australia. This agency operates with the belief that how a brand communicates is not built around what they say, but the experiences that they create and share with audiences.
The Role:
We are looking for an Event Coordinator to join our team. The Event Coordinator will report to the Senior Producer and be at the centre of all deliverables of a project, responsible for the quality, timing, budget, and OH&S for each project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Retail and support event timelines and on-site schedules for assigned events
- Sourcing and managing various suppliers
- Fostering and maintaining strong client relationships
- Managing project budgets
- Supporting the creative and design briefings
- Supporting with venue, council approvals documentation, and submissions
- Supporting with Health and Safety Management Plans, documentations, and forms required in the lead up and onsite at events
- Support in creating purchase orders and supporting project finance where required
- Supporting on multiple projects simultaneously
- Supporting the producers when on-site
- Support the technical and logistical running of the event
- Support building producers with storage inventory
- Ensure a high-quality standard of delivery is maintained
- Support with financial reconciliation of the production budget
- Attend debriefs and communicate results
- Archive technical project files
Requirements:
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Administrative & organisational skills
- Excellent computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Photoshop)
- An understanding of event registration is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills
- Good problem-solving and lateral thinking skills
- A desire to be accurate and detailed
- Ability to travel for events when required
- Ability to build strong supplier relationships
- Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently
Compensation:
$65,000 - $75,000 per year, plus superannuation depending on experience. This salary range is estimated based on industry standards for similar roles in Sydney.
