We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Event Planner to oversee the planning, design, and execution of events from inception to completion. This role requires exceptional customer service skills and attention to detail to ensure events meet quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Event Planning and Production: Develop and execute event concepts, manage timelines, and coordinate logistics to deliver successful events.
  • Customer Liaison: Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, provide regular updates, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Market Research and Negotiations: Conduct market research, gather information, and negotiate contracts to secure optimal arrangements.
  • Reporting and Feedback: Provide periodic reports to stakeholders and offer constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Service Enhancement: Propose innovative ideas to enhance provided services and improve event quality.
  • Event Management: Coordinate facilities, decor, catering, entertainment, transportation, location, invitee lists, special guests, equipment, and promotional materials.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to insurance, legal, health, and safety regulations.
  • Staff Coordination: Determine staff requirements and coordinate their activities.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Collaborate with marketing and PR teams to promote and publicize events.
  • Troubleshooting: Proactively handle arising issues and troubleshoot emerging problems on event days.
  • Post-Event Evaluations: Conduct pre- and post-event evaluations, report on outcomes, and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience as an event planner or organizer.
  • Portfolio: Impressive portfolio showcasing previously managed events (weddings, meetings, parties, corporate events).
  • Skills: Excellent time management, communication, sales, and project management skills.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Event Management or a related field.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
