Strategic Administrative Support Officer

This is a key role within the State Government Department's Company Secretariat, requiring a highly skilled administrative professional to provide exceptional support to the Executive Leadership Group and Board.
The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. They will be responsible for preparing and coordinating Board papers, as well as providing administrative assistance to the Company Secretary.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and coordinating Board meeting materials, including paper preparation and logistics;
- Providing administrative support to the Company Secretary, including managing key departmental processes such as budgeting and planning;
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with Board members and other stakeholders;
- Liaising with high-level executives and Board committee members to ensure effective communication and collaboration;
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- Significant experience in an administrative or secretarial role, preferably within a government or corporate environment;
- Strong organisational/time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders;
- A high level of attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a busy office environment;
Estimated salary: AU$65,000 - AU$80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
This is a permanent full-time position, with a 3-day on-site and 2-day work-from-home arrangement. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their skills and contribute to the success of the Company Secretariat team.
