About the Role

We seek a qualified classroom teacher who can effectively educate students using approved techniques and resources aligned with the curriculum. The ideal candidate will provide regular assessment and feedback while maintaining accurate records, collaborate with colleagues and families, and uphold professional standards through ongoing learning and accreditation.

This role involves multiple positions available (Permanent, Temporary, Full-time and Part-time) for interested applicants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate active support for CECG policies and procedures.
  • Create a stimulating learning environment that promotes excellence and acknowledges the needs of students.
  • Make effective use of available resources.
  • Employ various teaching and learning techniques to meet individual needs.
  • Identify learner needs, consulting with specialist staff when necessary.
  • Present and explain assessment criteria to students in advance.
  • Provide timely and useful feedback about completed assessment items.
  • Fulfill requirements related to assessments and their documentation.
  • Communicate clearly, respectfully, and professionally to optimize student development.
  • Attend all lessons and be punctual to class.
  • Maintain professional confidentiality regarding student information.
  • Be proficient in using IT as a teaching and administrative tool.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master in Teaching.
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration.
  • Teaching Quality Institute (TQI) registration.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 to $120,000 per annum, plus superannuation. Additional benefits include:
