The Role:

This sales leadership position requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record of growing revenues through effective team management, coaching, and strategy implementation. You will be responsible for:

  • Directly managing a team of 6-10 AE's
  • Collaborating closely with Sales Engineers, Partner Sales Manager, and Sales Development professionals in the region
  • Developing and executing strategies to drive sales growth and team performance
  • Overseeing day-to-day operations, including recruitment, retention, performance management, employee development, and enablement
  • Working with Finance on sales team P&L and Operations forecasting

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience building, training, and leading top-notch sales teams within the SaaS vertical
  • 10+ years of experience primarily in direct sales but also channel sales
  • Deep experience selling complex SaaS offerings to IT Ops and/or DevOps leaders
  • Relevant software industry experience in IT systems, enterprise, or infrastructure management
  • A sales track record of leading teams to exceed quota objectives
  • Strong communication skills and a polished approach to management and sales
  • Ability to forecast sales accurately and commit to achieving those figures
  • Must be based in Sydney or Melbourne (Hybrid role)
  • Bachelor's Degree, MBA is a plus

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additional benefits include a comprehensive health insurance package, flexible work arrangements, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
