We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Coordinator to join our team at Ignite, an organisation that leads national improvements in healthcare safety and quality. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on several programs supporting a director on a range of activities for a project.

In this role, you will work across procurement, project planning, contract management, budgeting, document preparation, and system support. You will also provide support for committees, working groups, meetings, and workshops.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collating and editing meeting papers, submissions, briefing notes, and consultation documents
  • Providing secretariat support for committees and expert groups
  • Coordinating project management activities and monitoring projects
  • Coordinating procurement, contracts, financial administration, and budget monitoring
  • Collaborating with internal and external teams to meet all project goals
  • Analysing data, reports, and expert opinions to support project development
  • Updating written resources for internal and external audiences
  • Engaging with stakeholders and team members

To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience working in a Project Officer role, supporting Program managers or Directors, and experience in the Government sector or working with Committees and government processes.

You must also have experience in secretariat support and project management, including managing and reporting on budgets. Additionally, you should have a strong understanding of contract management, procedural procurement processes, and stakeholder communication and engagement.

This is a full-time position based in Sydney, NSW. The estimated salary for this role is AU$70,000 - AU$90,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience.
