About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Lecturer to coordinate our Tertiary Pathway Program, ensuring a positive teaching, learning and student experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Management: Oversee development and review of programs in consultation with senior stakeholders, provide assistance to Year Coordinators, Academic Advisors, Course Coordinators, and ensure program design and delivery is relevant to qualification level.
  • Student Retention Strategy: Develop and administer internal retention strategy that aligns with the university's Student Success and Retention Framework.
  • Policies and Procedures: Ensure alignment of the program and its constituent courses with Faculty and University policies and strategic objectives.
  • Course Offerings and Timetabling: Provide oversight to ensure student progression, promote the program accurately and effectively in University materials and at relevant events.
  • Engagement and Quality Assurance: Liaise with external stakeholders, monitor the student experience and graduate outcomes through internal and external quality assurance data sets and measures.
About the Opportunity

This full-time position offers a generous salary range of $133,307 to $153,715 per annum, plus 14.25% superannuation.

Requirements:
  • Qualifications: A doctoral qualification or equivalent accreditation and standing.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience in Program Coordination, with evidence of previous experience in working in Equity and enabling programs.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and coordination skills, ability to work collaboratively with staff and students, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
