Job Description

We are currently recruiting a Fixed Income and Currencies Corporate Business Developer in Sydney, Australia. This is an exciting opportunity to build close relationships with corporate clients and develop business opportunities.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in growing the FIC Corporate flow business with Australian Corporates and developing business opportunities. They will work closely with the Global Markets teams to originate business opportunities, provide advisory on risk management, and build deal pipelines.

The ideal candidate will have at least 6-8 years of relevant financial markets experience in Sales or Global Markets, with a strong understanding of corporate business and key decision drivers. They will also have proven capabilities in building strong relationships with Australian Corporate clients and a good knowledge of Fixed Income and Currencies products.

This is a challenging role that requires strong commercial acumen, negotiation and influencing skills, and the ability to work in a team environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales initiatives, maintaining awareness of SG's FX & Rates strengths and offerings, and working collaboratively with other salespersons in the region and globally.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Statistics, or Engineering
  • At least 6-8 years of relevant financial markets experience in Sales or Global Markets
  • Proven capabilities in building strong relationships with Australian Corporate clients
  • Strong understanding of corporate business and key decision drivers
  • Good knowledge of Fixed Income and Currencies products
Estimated Salary: AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum
