Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President to join our Fixed Income and Currencies Corporate Sales team in Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing FX and interest rate risk management solutions to corporate clients in Australia, including investment solutions where relevant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Grow the FIC Corporate flow business with Australian Corporates and develop business opportunities
  • Originate business opportunities with existing and new clients and provide advisory on risk management and deal pipelines
  • Develop strong pricing and execution abilities in FX and interest rates derivatives, as well as structured investment solutions
  • Prepare pitchbooks, market comments, term sheets, and other marketing materials
  • Drive sales initiatives and maintain awareness of SG's FX & Rates strengths and offerings
  • Work in close partnership with the broader FIC desk in Sydney to build out the franchise
  • Maintain strong connectivity with the market, understanding the needs of different corporate clients and industry groups, and leverage market intelligence to provide feedback internally

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Statistics, or Engineering
  • At least 6-8 years of relevant financial markets experience in Sales or Global Markets
  • Proven capabilities in building strong relationships with Australian Corporate clients and understanding their key decision drivers
  • Strong technical knowledge of Fixed Income and Currencies products, particularly IRS/XCCY/FX/FXO/structured investment solutions
  • Good knowledge of dealing platforms for credit FX and FI
  • Strong ability in Microsoft Office tools, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
