Job Title: Vice President of Fixed Income

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Fixed Income to join our team in Sydney, Australia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Grow the Fixed Income and Currencies Corporate business with Australian Corporates and develop business opportunities.
  • Originate business opportunities with existing and new clients and provide advisory on risk management and building deal pipelines in collaboration with the Global Markets teams.
  • Develop strong pricing and execution abilities in FX and Interest rates derivatives, as well as structured investment solutions.
  • Prepare pitchbooks, market comments, term sheets, and other marketing materials.
  • Drive sales initiatives and maintain awareness of SG's FX & Rates strengths and offerings.
  • Work in close partnership with the broader FIC desk in Sydney in building out the franchise.
  • Maintain strong connectivity with the market, understanding the needs of the different corporate clients and industry groups, leveraging on market intelligence to provide feedback internally.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's Degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Statistics, Engineering.
  • At least 6-8 years of relevant financial markets experience in Sales or Global Markets.
  • Proven capabilities in building strong relationships with the Australian Corporate clients.
  • Strong technical knowledge on Fixed Income and Currencies products.
  • Good knowledge on the usage of dealing platforms for credit FX and FIS.
  • Strong ability in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Power Point and Excel.
