We are seeking an experienced People and Culture Business Partner to join our team at Opal HealthCare, one of Australia's leading aged care providers.

As a Business Partner, you will partner with key stakeholders to provide support, guidance, and solutions to people matters, including performance, engagement, development, and industrial and employee relation matters.

You will be responsible for aligning with the direction of Opal HealthCare and helping to create, drive, and deliver on the People & Culture strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing expert generalist support to key stakeholders
  • Developing and implementing people strategies to drive business outcomes
  • Managing complex team member matters and providing guidance on industrial and employee relations
  • Building leadership capability and driving talent development initiatives

Requirements:

  • 5-8 years' experience in a Human Resources field, including senior positions in talent management or leadership development
  • Demonstrated experience as a strong People & Culture generalist
  • Strong IR and ER experience, particularly in managing complex team member matters
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR or a related discipline
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry/nursing profession
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
