We are seeking an experienced Senior People & Culture Business Partner to join Opal HealthCare, one of Australia's leading Health & Aged Care organisations. Our company has 20,000 dedicated HealthCare professionals working across 5 states and growing.


This role will partner with key operational stakeholders to provide support, guidance and solutions to people matters including performance, engagement, retention, development and industrial and employment relation matters.


As a Senior People & Culture Business Partner, you will be responsible for leading the Victorian P&C team in creating, driving and delivering on People & Culture strategic initiatives. This includes developing and implementing P&C strategies that align with the company's overall vision and business objectives.


Key responsibilities include:



  • Leadership of the Victorian team of Business Partners/Advisors in the successful delivery of P&C initiatives.
  • Partnering with key operational stakeholders to provide specialist advice and coaching on effective people management.
  • Full oversight and responsibility for all IR / ER matters for the state of Victoria.
  • Driving positive team engagement and culture both within the People & Culture team and throughout the business.

What we're seeking:



  • 5-8 years demonstrated experience within Senior People & Culture positions.
  • Strong technical expertise within ER/IR, performance management, and wider HR space.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, team members and external partners.
  • Tertiary qualifications within a HR or related discipline.
