We deliver a wide range of services from soil reclamation, concrete plant production, material cartage, Hire - Plant and Traffic Management plus our foundational core business of road and civil construction services across Victoria.

With a small head office footprint in Bayswater North with approx 130 employees, a key role that supports our people across the business has become available.

**You and the Role**:
An immediate value add role to assist in developing the fairly new function of HR/People & Culture in the business in both strategic and operational aspects.

Understanding the value of People & Culture function in a business and working closely as a BP/Manager with Department Managers and Supervisors on day to day and planning for the future, you will come with a breadth of experience (minimum 5 years) across all areas of HR including specifically Attraction, Recruitment, Onboarding, Reward, Recognition, Performance including High Accountability Culture, Development & Training - Succession and be hands on with Policy and Procedure Development.

This role reports into the CEO working closely with other leaders on setting the People & Culture Strategy as well as day to day operations of P&C all levels. A busy recruitment desk with sole casual workforce in one part of the business meaning you are regularly juggling many items yourself with occasional support of a part time admin over busy periods.

**Must have Requirements**:

- Right to Work in Australia
- Qualified in HR or Minimum 5 years relevant experience
- Willing to undergo a Pre employment medical with Drug & Alcohol Check
- Strong system and admin knowledge including MS Office Suite and ideally ELMO or similar HR system for recruitment, onboarding, compliance, performance, LMS, surveys and more.
- Building & Construction Industry and Award knowledge highly regarded
