About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Generalist HR Professional to join our team at Annecto. As a key member of our People & Culture team, you will play a critical role in supporting our leaders and teams across all stages of the employee lifecycle.

Annecto is a fast-growing, for-purpose Aged Care and National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provider with over 70 years of local presence. We are a purpose-driven organisation with a strong emphasis on community impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the first point of contact for the delivery of all People & Culture services, from talent attraction and sourcing to off-boarding.
  • Collaborate with unit heads to develop a localised and fit-for-purpose workforce strategy.
  • Interpret and leverage People & Culture reports to advise leaders on department and organisation trends relevant to them and data insights.
  • Advise leaders and staff on interpreting industrial awards, Enterprise Bargaining Agreements, and People & Culture policies and processes.
  • In conjunction with the Workplace Relations team, support people leaders with the management of workplace issues.
  • Partner closely with the Learning & Development and Organisational Development teams to implement strategies to develop workforce capability, ensure appropriate training and development, implement performance management systems, develop career and succession plans, and improve engagement and retention.
  • Maintain and monitor HRIS and other HR systems/records on a regular basis to ensure compliance and data accuracy.
  • Provide ad-hoc feedback and support to the Corporate People & Culture team for initiatives, policy reviews, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of HR Generalist experience, preferably within a Disability or Community Services provider.
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR or a related discipline.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, comfortable in advising Senior Leadership.
  • Proficient understanding of the Fair Work Act, modern awards, and HR policies.
  • Sound analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for process and continuous improvement.
