An exciting opportunity has come up for someone to step into a 12 months mat leave cover and truly make an impact on business and commercial outcomes.

The People and Culture Business Partner will partner with Nine’s Radio, Finance & Sales teams across Australia - creating and delivering people strategy across all three businesses, as well as managing all Learning & Development programs across the remit.

Additionally, this role plays a critical part in the Learning & Development of our National Sales Team and Finance teams. Line managing our Training Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and executing a full suite of learning content, modules and programs to upskill the teams in line with business objectives and strategy.

This role would suit an experienced People & Culture Business Partner with previous experience or an interest in Learning & Development.

**Responsibilities**:

- Working with the Head of People and Culture, developing people strategies across Sales, Radio & Finance that enables us to attract, develop and retain key talent - which is tailored to the individual business needs
- Sitting across leadership teams in Radio, Sales & Finance, partner with senior stakeholders, understand the individual strategic challenges of each business unit, and take a lead role in the design, creation and implementation of Learning & Development programs across Sales (Sales Academy), advise ways people strategy can help deliver their commercial outcomes.
- Create learning content, identify external providers and deliver a learning framework aligned to Sales strategy and future skills building
- Create and deliver learning programs as needed across Finance & Radio gaining buy in from senior stakeholders and momentum in delivery, engagement and embedding
- Create, drive and deliver key people initiatives across the business, including Performance & Development plans, Leadership capability, Talent & Succession, Health & wellbeing and Reward & Recognition programs
- Provide day-to-day advice and support to People Leaders (e.g., coaching, counselling, career development, disciplinary actions) with the ability to challenge, and influence, driving engagement with the sales teams.

**Qualifications**
- 5 - 7 years experience as a generalist HR Business Partner - partnering with senior stakeholders, Executives and Leadership Teams
- A strong ability to influence senior stakeholders to drive business outcomes, with the confidence to challenge decisions
- Demonstrated experience in the delivery of Learning & Development programs for large sale teams (sales team experience beneficial)
- Ability to switch between strategy and hands-on business partnering
- Strong analytical skills, and ability to pull reports - with experience influencing decisions using available data sources
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve and manage conflicting priorities across stakeholders and resilience and drive - a passion to drive outcomes in sometimes challenging circumstances.
- Knowledge of best practice people practices including employee relations, recruitment, reward, performance management, talent development and engagement with demonstrated experience in leading change initiatives and managing complex people projects
- Confident presenter and written communicator - able to adapt style and influence culture through communications
