About Cocoon SDA Care

We are a NDIS-registered provider offering support staff and homes to our participants. Our houses provide a place they can call home, encouraging independence and lifestyle choices that suit their individual needs.

About the role

  • Lead a team of disability support workers.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of accommodation.
  • Manage the budget and expenditure of accommodation.
  • Perform maintenance tasks as needed at the accommodation.
  • Liaise with allied health professionals.
  • Effectively manage rosters and staff issues.
  • Monitor the health and wellbeing of participants and staff.
  • Organize recreational activities for participants.
  • Encourage team and participants to meet their goals.
  • Coordinate team meetings and coach staff members.
  • Manage rosters and submit progress reports.
  • Coordinate meals, activities, and appointments.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Certificate III in Individual Support Disability, Aged care or equivalent required.
  • First Aid, CPR, Manual Handling, and Medication Administration training required or willingness to obtain.
  • Current Driver's License required.

The ideal candidate will have manual handling and personal care skills, cultural knowledge, leadership experience, excellent communication skills, and compliance knowledge.
