About the Role
  • Lead a team of disability support workers.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of accommodation.
  • Oversee the management of the accommodation budget and expenditure.
  • Carry out any necessary maintenance at the accommodation.
  • Liaise with allied health professionals.
  • Effectively manage rosters and staff issues.
  • Monitor the health and wellbeing of participants and staff.
  • Organize recreational activities for participants.
  • Encourage team and participants to meet their goals.
  • Coordinate team meetings and coach staff members.
  • Manage rosters and submit progress reports.
  • Coordinate meals, activities, and appointments.
Additional Skillsets and Experience
  • Manual handling and personal care skills.
  • Cultural knowledge and skills.
  • Experience as a support worker.
  • Leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Medication administration.
  • Compliance knowledge will be an advantage.
