This role offers an opportunity to provide comprehensive healthcare services to Indigenous individuals and communities.

We are seeking a skilled Aboriginal Health Practitioner to join our team, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to promote physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

About the Role

You will play a crucial role in delivering culturally sensitive care, health education, and advocacy to Indigenous individuals and communities.

  • Certificate III or higher in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care is required.
  • You must be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Aboriginal Health Practitioner or eligible to obtain.
  • Effective communication methods within an Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander Health Practice Context are essential.
  • Demonstrated cultural knowledge and exercise cultural respect and safety at the individual and families' levels.

As a Holistic Healthcare Specialist, you will work closely with older people to provide professional care advice from anywhere, at any time.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you should have a mature outlook with the ability to relate and converse with older people. Strong organisational and time management skills, including the ability to establish priorities and plan work, are also essential.

Benefits

We offer a competitive pay rate of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, plus superannuation and employee perks.
