About Geoscience Ireland and the Role

Geoscience Ireland is a leading provider of geoscience services, and we are seeking an experienced Pursuits Manager to join our team. As a Pursuits Manager, you will play a key role in developing and implementing strategies to secure new business opportunities and grow our client base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proposal Development: Develop and manage proposals in response to requests for proposals (RFPs) and other business development opportunities.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, build relationships with clients and stakeholders, and develop strategic partnerships.
  • Marketing and Communications: Develop and implement marketing and communications strategies to promote our services and build our brand.
  • Proposal Writing: Write high-quality proposals that meet client requirements and showcase our expertise.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our team of geoscientists, engineers, and other professionals to develop and implement proposals and business development strategies.

Requirements

  • Post-Secondary Degree: A post-secondary degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5 years of experience in proposal development, business development, or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent writing and communication skills, strong organizational and time management skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign and Photoshop.
