  • Monitor the Responsible Service of Alcohol and ensure compliance with Victorian legislation.
  • Maintain food and beverage stock and inventory control based on current and future occupancy.
  • Complete check-in and check-out procedures, adhering to hotel standards.
  • Update guest profiles, maintain guest accounts, and relevant information during their visit, ensuring charges are posted to the correct account.
  • Communicate with a diverse range of people in a professional manner, providing exceptional customer service.

Requirements

  • Minimum 12 months experience in a luxury hotel environment.
  • Highly organized and able to effectively manage priorities.
  • Strong focus on guest and team relations, initiating contact and establishing rapport easily.
  • Project a professional image at all times through personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Handle tasks carefully and correctly, being thorough and exact in details with a sense of urgency.
  • Display high energy levels and demonstrate versatility in responding to guest requests and situations.
  • Remain calm and effective in high-volume work situations.
  • Be a good team player, contributing to and assisting co-workers without being asked.
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Previous reception/attendant experience preferred.
  • Valid RSA and knowledge of Opera is an advantage.
