We are seeking a motivated Property Claims Adjuster to join our high-performing team based in Newcastle NSW.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Property Claims Adjuster to assess damage to insured properties and provide accurate builders' assessment reports and repair budgets for insurers to review.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessing Policy Coverage: Assess the property loss or damage and determine policy coverage.
  • Effective Communication: Communicate clear and accurate advice, solutions, timeframes, and claim progress to stakeholders.
  • Supporting Customer Resolution: Support the Insurance Manager to identify customer resolution strategies to minimise customer escalations.
  • Determining Claim Fulfilment Method: Determine an appropriate claim fulfilment method that balances customer needs and business requirements.
  • Responding to Stakeholders: Respond to customer and stakeholder requests within expected or agreed timeframes.
Essential Requirements
  • Industry Experience: Experience in the Building and Construction Industry preferred.
  • Travel and Work Flexibility: Willing to travel and spend prolonged periods of time working out of the office.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to use technology and systems to execute role efficiently.
  • WHS Knowledge: Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and Australian Standards.
