Maas Group is a leading construction company based in Newcastle, NSW. We are seeking an experienced Insurance Claims Adjuster to join our team.

The successful candidate will assess damage to insured properties and provide accurate reports and repair budgets for insurers to review.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assessing property loss or damage and determining policy coverage
  • Communicating clear and accurate advice, solutions, timeframes, and claim progress to stakeholders
  • Supporting the Insurance Manager to identify customer resolution strategies to minimise customer escalations
  • Determining an appropriate claim fulfilment method that balances customer needs and expectations
  • Responding to customer and stakeholder requests within expected or agreed timeframes

Essential requirements include:

  • Experience in the Building and Construction Industry preferred
  • Willingness to travel and spend prolonged periods of time working out of the office
  • Ability to use technology and systems to execute the role efficiently
  • Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and Australian Standards
