About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Corporate Risk Officer to join your team on a short-term contract. As a vital partner to internal stakeholders, you will provide comprehensive support by managing the corporate insurance portfolio, handling claims, coordinating asset insurance, overseeing renewals, and addressing information requests.

You will aid in fostering a culture of risk awareness by supporting the ongoing development of the organisation's Risk Management Framework and assist with business continuity planning by coordinating impact analyses, documentation, and training.

This role provides the opportunity to work on meaningful risk and continuity projects within a supportive team. You'll gain exposure to various risk management challenges and play a key role in shaping the organisation's approach to risk and resilience.

  • Manage the corporate insurance portfolio, ensuring compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
  • Handle claims and coordinate asset insurance to mitigate risks.
  • Oversee renewals and ensure timely payment of premiums.
  • Address information requests from internal stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Qualifications in insurance, risk management, business continuity, or a related discipline.
  • Knowledge of liability, property, and general insurance processes.
  • Familiarity with risk management standards and a strong grasp of best practices.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience in report writing.
  • Ability to work independently in a high-volume environment while effectively collaborating with stakeholders at all levels.
