Insurance Assessor

Maas Constructions are currently seeking a motivated Insurance Assessor to join our high performing team based in Newcastle NSW.
As an Insurance Assessor, you will assess damage to insured properties and provide accurate builders assessment reports and repair budgets for insurers to review.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Assess the property loss or damage and determine policy coverage
- Communicate clear and accurate advice, solutions, timeframes and claim progress to stakeholders
- Support the Insurance Manager to identify customer resolution strategies to minimise customer escalations
- Determine an appropriate claim fulfilment method that balances customer
- Respond to customer and stakeholder requests within expected or agreed timeframes
**Essential requirements**:
- Experience in the Building and Construction Industry preferred.
- Willing to travel and spend prolonged periods of time working out of the office.
- Ability to use technology and systems to execute role efficiently.
- Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and Australian Standards.
