Valeo, a global leader in automotive innovation, is seeking a highly skilled Key Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our commercial vehicles division, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our international customers.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • International customer service and data maintenance in collaboration with local sales organizations
  • Defining and implementing strategies to strengthen business relationships with customers
  • Driving profitable and sustainable revenue growth in your area of responsibility
  • Acquiring and advising customers on technical solutions and project feasibility in coordination with the technical department
  • Representing the company and developing sustainable relationships with customers
  • Presentation and distribution of Valeo TBS products

Your Profile:

  • Preferably a degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience
  • Several years of experience in key account management in the automotive industry is an advantage
  • Proven success in sales of technical products requiring explanation
  • Hands-on experience in the areas mentioned above
  • Strong communication and team skills
  • Ability to distinguish oneself in negotiations and possess a friendly demeanor
  • Strategic work and entrepreneurial thinking and acting
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel
  • Very good written and spoken English skills are required, German and other foreign languages are a plus
