Strategic Market Expansion Manager

The Australian Submarine Agency is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Market Expansion Manager to join their team. This role will play a critical part in the acquisition of conventionally-armed, nuclear-powered submarines for Australia.
As a key member of the Industrial Uplift Branch, you will work closely with AUKUS Government and industry partners, as well as Australian Government and industry stakeholders, to grow Australia's industrial base and enable delivery of Australia's SSN capability and trilateral submarine industrial base resilience.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to contribute to a historic and transformative endeavour that will transform Australia's economic and national security landscape for decades to come.
The ideal candidate will have experience in client-side delivery of major projects, strong influencing and negotiation skills, and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
You will also possess the ability to solve complex issues, including those on detailed or sensitive projects, that impact strategic, political, or operational outcomes for the Australian Submarine Agency.
This role requires flexibility, including working hours outside of standard business hours and travelling domestically and internationally to meet trilateral obligations.
We are offering a competitive salary range of $134,567 - $161,521 (EL 2) + SuperMelbourne CBD - VIC.
