Your New Role
We're seeking an experienced Institutional Sales Manager to drive growth in key markets. As the Institutional Sales Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in expanding our presence in middle and institutional markets and family offices.
You'll leverage your expertise in social infrastructure, commercial property, and unlisted property funds to build and nurture relationships across these channels. Collaborating closely with the Strategic Partnership Team and Fund Managers, you'll spearhead strategic initiatives to strengthen client relationships and deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Growth: Develop innovative business development strategies to achieve growth targets in middle and institutional markets and family offices.
- Client Relationship Management: Maintain and strengthen relationships with key clients, ensuring outstanding service as the primary point of contact.
- Market Leadership: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging your established network and insights into social infrastructure, commercial property, and unlisted property funds.
- Collaborative Execution: Partner with internal teams, including Marketing, Product, and Operations, to align business development efforts with company goals.
- Market Insights: Conduct in-depth market research to stay ahead of trends, uncover opportunities, and inform senior management.
- Sales Leadership: Drive sales initiatives and campaigns to increase revenue, monitor performance, and adjust strategies to meet and exceed targets.
- Culture and Value Proposition: Foster a customer-first mindset by embedding systems to listen, learn, and act on client and employee feedback. Define, deliver, and enhance the business unit's customer value proposition through research and insights.
About You:
- A proven track record in the Australian wealth and asset management market, with established relationships in middle and institutional markets and family offices.
- Previous success in capital raising while fostering trust and delivering value to AFSLs and investors.
- Expertise in social infrastructure, commercial property, and unlisted property funds, with a demonstrated ability to deliver results in these areas.
- Ability to maintain relationships in the wholesale, middle, and family office channels.
- Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work across teams and drive strategic initiatives.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building capabilities, with a focus on delivering value to clients.
- Demonstrated sales and negotiation success.
