We are seeking a skilled and ambitious Insurance Broker to join our Auto, Fleet & Trades team at Marsh in Melbourne. This role is a hybrid opportunity that requires working at least three days a week in the office.

This exciting position offers an early career broker the chance to enhance their skill set across various insurance products for different industries. If you are a motivated individual with excellent client interaction skills, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strong client relationships by understanding their needs and responding proactively.
  • Implement renewal and broking strategies based on client requirements.
  • Process billing requests and gather information for quotes.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with insurers and assist with negotiations.
  • Oversee outstanding renewals, credit control, and necessary reporting for the client portfolio.
  • Identify new business opportunities (new or expanded) and act on them in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of general or financial lines insurance broking experience.
  • Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualification or higher.
  • Clear and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and demonstrate good time management skills.
