About the Role

The University of Wollongong is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Administrative Assistant to join its School of Education. This is a full-time appointment that will provide high-level professional administrative assistance and customer service to the Professional Experience (PEX) Unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the PEX Unit, including coordination of professional experience placements for students.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with schools, early childhood education and care services, and other stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Coordinate and manage the School's Professional Experience program, ensuring compliance with government and university procedures and requirements.
  • Provide high-level administrative assistance to the team, including preparing reports, managing databases, and performing other administrative tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or significant experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • High-level administrative skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and attention to detail.
